Frequently Asked Questions

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data including stats, friends, and messages. You can also visit dotsstrategy.net/delete-account.html to request deletion.

I forgot my login — how do I sign in?

Dots uses Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple — there is no password to forget. Simply tap the sign-in button again with the same provider you used when you created your account and you'll be logged back in automatically.

How do I appear on the global leaderboard?

The first time you open Dots after signing in, you'll be asked whether you'd like your scores uploaded to the global leaderboard. You must allow this to appear in rankings. You can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy.

I opted out of the leaderboard — can I opt back in?

Yes. Go to Profile → Settings → Privacy → Leaderboard and enable it. Your scores from future games will be uploaded from that point forward.

The app is crashing or not loading — what should I do?

Try these steps in order:

Why am I not receiving push notifications?

Go to your device's Settings → Notifications → Dots and make sure notifications are enabled. You can also toggle notifications inside the app under Profile → Settings.

How does the chat block feature work?

During a game or in the Friends tab, tap a player's name and select Block. Blocked users cannot send you chat messages or friend requests. You can manage your blocked users in Profile → Settings → Blocked Users.

Purchases & Coins

I purchased coins but they didn't appear

Close and reopen the app — purchases are validated on launch. If coins still haven't appeared after a few minutes, email us at support@dotsstrategy.net with your Apple receipt email or Google Play order ID.

How do I restore previous purchases?

Open the Shop and tap Restore Purchases at the bottom. This will restore non-consumable items like Remove Ads, Season Pass, and premium cosmetics. Coin packs cannot be restored as they are consumable.

Can I get a refund?

All purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. For Apple refunds, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play refunds, use your Google Play order history or visit Google Play Help.

How do I remove ads?

Go to the Shop → Remove Ads and purchase the Remove Ads item. This removes standard ads where available. Optional rewarded video ads may remain available as a watch-to-earn choice.
